China is a "P" member of ISO/TC2, consisting of China National Machinery Productivity Promotion Center, China National Academy of Machinery Research Institute of Standards and Technology, Hangzhou Datong Third Generation Technology Co., Ltd., Ningbo Ningli High Strength Fastener Co., Ltd., Zhoushan 7412 Factory, Zhoushan Zhengyuan Standard Parts Co., Ltd., Meishan CRRC Fastener Technology Co., Ltd., Hunan Shenyi Machinery Application Research Institute Co., Ltd., Hunan Shenyi Machinery Application Research Institute Co., Ltd., Ningbo Jishi Metal New Material Co., Ltd., 11 experts from 11 companies including Shanghai Avuxi Machinery Technology Consulting Co., Ltd. formed a Chinese delegation, and Ding Baoping, chairman of the National Fastener Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC85), served as the head of the delegation.
At the meeting, the chairmen of the ISO/TC2 sub-technical committees and working group conveners reported on the international standardization work in various fields; ISO/TC 1 "thread", ISO/TC 17/SC4 "heat treatable steel and alloy steel", ISO/ TC20/SC4 "Aerospace Fasteners", ISO/TC29/SC10 "Screw and Nut Installation Tools, Clamps and Cutters", ISO/TC44/SC 6 "Resistance Welding and Related Mechanical Connections", ISO/TC107/ The liaisons of the relevant technical committees such as SC 3 "Electrodeposition Coating and Related Surface Treatment", ISO/TC227 "Spring" and other related technical committees also reported on the development of standards in the fields related to the standardization of fasteners.
The meeting discussed the key technical content of ISO 2702 self-tapping screw mechanical performance standards and the mechanical performance of large-size fasteners, bolts and nuts product standards, and unified opinions on future work. ISO/TC2 decided to adjust its work areas to increase the standardization of fastener-related content such as design and calculation, assembly methods, assembly/joint certification, etc. After the meeting, inquiries on new work items will be initiated on the four international set screw standards ISO/PWI4766, ISO/PWI 7434, ISO/PWI7435 and ISO/PWI7436, which have been revised by China, and the project will be formally approved.
In recent years, China has actively participated in the formulation and revision of international standard projects, and has shifted from general participation in tracking the adoption of standards to substantive participation in ISO standard formulation and revision projects. Through the participation of Chinese representatives in the ISO international conference, it reflects the demands and opinions of China's fastener industry, and also fully communicates with experts from various countries, fully understands the background and procedures of the formulation of international standards, and understands the difficulties and focus of controversy in the process of formulation and revision of international standards. Understanding international standards, equivalent to adopting international standards, etc. play a positive role.
